Our red wine apple cider Sangria cocktail is the perfect drink for chilly days.
It’s packed with flavor from the Honeycrisp apples and a mixture of spices.
This apple sangria is sure to become your new go-to winter cocktail!
- 2 Honeycrisp apples
- 4 Cardamom pods
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 4 Cloves, whole
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 Star anise
- 1 1/2 Cups apple cider
- 1/2 Cup orange liqueur
- 1L Smooth Dry Red wine
- Add all ingredients to a large pitcher and stir to combine.
- Cover pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight. The longer it stays in the fridge the more flavour it will develop.
- Fill glasses with ice then pour sangria over top. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, star anise, and apple slices, and serve.
