With panoramic views of our abundant vineyards and the Maskam mountain, Die Keldery Restaurant is a welcome sojourn for all visitors. Located at Spruitdrift Wine Cellars just outside Vredendal, the venue lends itself to a relaxing environment – an ideal location to sit back and enjoy a variety of wines from our Tasting Room. Inside our kitchen, our chef’s team imaginatively craft delicious dishes inspired by local flavours, from burgers and steak to more traditional, classic specialities.

Wine Tasting

Our Namaqua Tasting Room is located at Die Keldery in Vredendal – a region that is conveniently nestled along the picturesque West Coast of the Cape. As a family friendly venue, we invite you to come and explore our diverse selection – our friendly tasting hosts will guide you through the options, while you sip, savour and take in the Namaqua atmosphere.



Wine was never meant to be drunk alone. At our Namaqua Tasting Room, we rotate our pairings to ensure variety, but always keep our steadfast favourites, including wine and biltong and wine and chocolate pairings, consisting of 5 different wines with 5 pieces of Lindt chocolate or 5 pieces of biltong. Each pairing is carefully curated in order to best enhance each wine’s unique aromas and characteristics. A kids pairing is also available, which includes grape juice and jellytots.


Namaqua would love to host you on your wedding day, and we will ensure that your experience is filled with making endless memories within our vineyard backdrop. Die Keldery accommodates 120 guests, and we are a stone’s throw away from Cape Town.
